Color Rush - Miles for Smiles
On June 1, 2024, the Trinayani team, in collaboration with The Children’s Home Society, hosted “Color Rush - Miles for Smiles” at Mercer County Park. This event featured a 5k run and a 2k walk to raise funds and awareness for children in need. Participants of all ages joined enthusiastically, with competitive runners and families alike enjoying the colorful, festive atmosphere. Volunteers ensured the event ran smoothly, and funds raised supported programs for vulnerable children and families.

In the gentle embrace of winter, as the earth whispered secrets of renewal, we gathered under the auspices of Trinayani to honor Maa Saraswati, the goddess of wisdom, art, and music. Saraswati Puja was not just a ritual; it was a poetic symphony of devotion, an ode to knowledge, and a celebration of the eternal dance of creativity.
Charity Drives 2023
Trinayani organized food drives, winter jacket drives, and holiday toy drives to support the community. We partnered with Mt Carmel Guild to ensure families facing food insecurity have access to essential nutrition, helping to alleviate hunger. Our winter jacket drives provide necessary winter clothing to those in need, ensuring individuals and families stay warm and healthy during the cold months. Additionally, our toy drives distribute gifts to children from low-income families, especially during the holiday season, bringing joy and comfort.

Durga Puja 2023 - Gram Bangla
n October 2023, Trinayani NJ hosted a Durga Puja celebration inspired by Nischindipur from Satyajit Ray's Pather Panchali. The event showcased the beauty and simplicity of rural Bengal, blending the artistic styles of Jamini Roy with the portrayals of Bibhutibushan and Satyajit Ray. A handcrafted idol, inspired by Jamini Roy, was a focal point of the celebration.
Attendees worshipped Durga, the goddess of strength, in this nostalgic setting, emphasizing inner strength and community. Traditional rituals, cultural performances, and shared meals celebrated the community's rich heritage. The event highlighted the power of collective effort and the journey towards a harmonious future.
